Terroir
The aromatic grape variety of the prestigious Condrieu is planted on the granitic soils of the Collines Rhodanniennes [Rhône Valley hills]. When ripe, this variety yields small, golden-brown coloured bunches.
Vinification
The traditional vinification, using controlled temperatures, develops the original and very particular aromas of this grape variety.
Tasting
Gleaming straw coloured, this is a very aromatic wine combining fragrances of fruit, peaches, apricots, and white flowers: Hawthorn (the "Noble Thorn" of its name), bergamot, and freesia. Slightly woody finish with a note of violet.
