Vinification
Monitoring the ripeness of the grapes on the vines and rigorous selection of the grapes harvested allow us to offer Saint-Joseph Red in different variants.
The Saint-Joseph red is vinified traditionally with 15–18 days’ maceration in vats.
Tasting
Ruby red in colour, aromatic with a spicy, peppery nose. Fresh on the palate, with a frank attack and supple tannins. We find notes of red fruit, leather, with a white pepper finish.
Serve whith
Supple on the palate, it makes a pleasant accompaniment for red meat, Mediterranean dishes, and matured cheeses.
Service
Wine to be served between 15 and 16°C. Brief airing recommended. Good wine for laying down (7 years)
